It wasn’t until last week Thursday when I went to clean behind the dryer , that I found there wasn’t one there. This could have been a very serious problem, had I not discovered this. It's getting better. Pet poop signs are up, so some folks are paying attention to the signs. Trash is not getting picked up on the next day after holidays. So why do we pay for this service? Yes I have called, but at some point...adults should not have to be reported. Maintenance is wonderful and helpful... especially Toussaint and Jose.

By far the best way to increase your debt. Biggest cash grab of a complex I ever seen. Along with the extreme rent, they tack on a lot of fees upfront and every month. So much so that I had to dig into my grandma’s jewelry box just to afford the admin fee & deposit. Signing a lease smaller than a year will certainly tack on an extra 300/month. Had a 10 minute talk with maintenance just to find out they don’t get paid enough so that’s why they barely help, so where is all our rent money going? They absolutely gave me a DIFFICULT time trying to move out. They required a 60 days notice for attempting a vacate. The moment I told them I was moving out, they cancelled my lease & put me on a month-to-month lease that costs $2,700/month, along with putting an eviction notice on my door saying I owed them 1,200, even though I paid a full months rent on the first. Do not bother looking at the pictures or doing a tour, they make sure the lounge and the “tour unit” is cleaned daily. But your unit will be the bottom of the barrel. Even the renovated ones have problems based on my experience.

First off, Britney is heaven sent. From day one, she has been super helpful and welcoming. She even gave me a welcome basket full of home essentials! Additionally, she helped me and my family move into the unit we wanted, stress-free. Although there were some maintenance issues upon move-in, Britney submitted requests and the issues were resolved quickly! I recommend talking to Britney if you want to move here. As for our new home, the apartment is beautiful and everything we need. My family and I are very happy!

The lakes is a nice place to live. You have everything with in a mile of you. Shops restaurants hospitals and many other enjoyable places. The staff is top notch and service request are handled very fast. The maintenance staff are well trained and equipped with what you need. The only negative I could say about the place is the valet trash service. It needs to be reworked and you should have the option to use it or not. Other than that, friendly neighbors peaceful and quiet.

The leasing agent, Nikki, was super sweet and worked with our budget. The renovated apartments are to die for and very spacious. Definitely a place for those who like the quiet and a calm atmosphere. This was before my roommate and I moved in. We have now been living here for 4 months and have nothing but problems. We moved into a newly renovated apartment that was complete two days before we moved in, we moved in and the drawers in the kitchen were in crooked, the room and bathroom doors don’t close all of the way. Our oven wouldn’t turn off, the sink in the kitchen was leaking for a week and half of the outlets in our apartment didn’t work. Oh and let’s not forget that our air conditioning has been working on and off for all 4 months and they had to remove the nest system completely. The maintenance staff has been a huge part of why we’re still here, we call and they come and try to fix the problem. However, there has been a couple of times that they have lied about fixing a issue. Definitely would not recommend anyone to move into this complex.

I haven't lived here long, but the grounds are lovely, staff is awesome, and the gym, while a little small, still has everything you need for a good solid workout. Walking distance to the Peninsula Town Center, there's always something to do! Any issues you may have, they're quick to rectify, and they do it right. Parking is a kinda hectic, but you can reserve a spot, and it's all good. I'd recommend living here to anyone looking for a new place to call home.

Bridgewater is in a great location that provides easy access to a variety of retail, restaurant, and business options. Carla Jones is the go-to team member to speak with at this property. She always provides outstanding customer service, is very passionate and knowledgeable about her job, and honest enough to take the time to research and get back with you if ahe doesn’t know an answer at any immediate moment. After being on the property for nearly 2 years, I had to depart for more suitable economic adventures, but customer service has been and will always matter in my opinion. See Carla. Although I met Lisa Ephraim during the last fee days of my stay, she is right on track with providing excellent customer service. Bridgewater keep building your team of Carla’s and Lisa’s.

The neighborhood is one of the nicest and safest areas in Hampton. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The maintaince is always friendly. I’ve lived here 2 years and no one has ever been rude once.I love all the amenities! The pool is one of my favorites. They are very engaged with tenants a different event every week and holidays! Taco Tuesdays, movie nights and Halloween events they have it all free for tenants. I have never lived anywhere else where tenants are treated so well! If you’re looking for a luxury experience look no further! You won’t be disappointed. Units are huge and no bugs.

I have been living here for almost a month now and I have nothing but positive things to say about this Apartment complex and the management staff. Michelle has been extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions. Debbie and Sabrina on the maintenance side have gone out of their way to help me settle in and ensured any big maintenance issue was taken cared of right away. I know I am forgetting to mentioned a few people but trust me, they will do whatever they possibly can to help their tenants. If you treat people with kindness, dignity and respect, i can assure you people will go out of their way for you, Update 10 July 2018: I have been here 5 months and still am very pleased with the customer service provided by the Bridgewater staff. I had a small issue after a month of moving in with my neighbors upstairs making loud banging noises in the middle of the night. As a courtesy I wrote a note and put it on their door. He came down with his girlfriend and apologized for not realizing the amount of noise they were making. It truly was a humbling experience for both of us. He was grateful for me giving them the chance to fix something they didn’t know about and not just going straight to the management office, and for me it was great to see that most if not all neighbors in this complex are kind as well as everyone pretty much minds their own business.

She has went out of her way to make sure me and my boyfriend were taken care of from the time we were interested in moving to into a bigger apartment, and continues to make sure we're happy while living in Bridgewater on the lake.

I have only been here at this complex for a few months, but I must say everything is going great. The customer service from Carla is phenomenal, any and all issues I have encountered were taken care of nomore than 24hrs. So for my experience I'm satisfied. The 1 complaint I'll give; is these pet owners not picking up after their dogs. Hopefully it gets better before worse. Other than that go see Carla and you can Thank me later.

I've resided at 3 different apartments in the Hampton Roads area. Bridgewater is my favorite due to location and cleanliness. I wish there was an extra dumpster on this side with the leasing office. Maybe I should take the hike and get my exercise, but I usually just put my trash in the back of my car and drive it to the trash compactor. No pest problems. Polite and respectful neighbors. And I think I have the best view on the entire property!

I live in the 9200 building, right as you enter the gates, and have for three years now. I have never had anything but exemplary service from the rental office personnel. Theresa is hands down the best. Anything that you could want (within reason obviously), she will readily accomodate. The friendly maintenance people are very knowledgeable and are quick too! I only needed to call maintenance five times in three years, and for relatively small problems (some ac stuff in the summer, toilets acting up, etc). I have yet to move out (end of this month), but I have no doubt we will get our security deposit back. The price is slightly higher than anything you will find in the area, but you're paying for a number of conveniences (gated community, pool/rec hall, gym facilities, location close to pretty much everything, and the apartments themselves) and I believe that it is worth it. Pros: -Location, location, location! -Fast and efficient maintenance services -vaulted ceilings in the apartments (afaik) -massive bedrooms and closet space -low utility bills -Main office personnel are easy to communicate with. -Absolutely get what you pay for. Cons: -"Gated" community doesn't have a quality gate. -limited parking/ easily towed without proper parking permit (this pissed me off) -children playing in the street.

Apartments are nice and clean. Pretty quiet. Pet friendly. Parking is good for residents & visitors. Gated for increased security. UPS packages are held in leasing office for you to pick up. Leasing office holds an event each month with food and fun activities to engage audience. Pool & business printer.

Not a bad place so far, apartments are spacious and new, the location is great and the staff is friendly and works quickly. I also enjoy the many many amenities they have there is always something to do. However there is dog poop absolutely everywhere and rules for picking it up appear to not be enforced whatsoever, nor does it seem that the grounds keepers make any efforts at all to keep up with this poorly enforced rule. Why should I have to step in others dog poop, when I am so adamant about cleaning up after my own pets. With that being my only complaint it is a great place to live.

Writing the review comes very natural to me, because the staff here at Bridgewater on the lake is beyond amazing. I've lived at the property for over 4 years and its like living amongst family. I can enjoy my morning coffee and evening laughs while picking up my mail or just stopping by to say my hellos. Two of the employees that's very knowledgeable here is Shanell and Michelle, if you're lost on any information or want any updates on our community events, they have the answer. I am a student and I remember one time I had a problem getting my school assignment finished but these young ladies help me out. Thank you for your support guys. Bridgewater on the lake rocks!!!
